I am a 38-year-old professional student, majoring in history. Job titles I have held in order to buy beer, pay rent, buy more beer, etc., have included Cryptologist, Copy Editor, Camp Counselor, and Carpet Cleaner.

Although handicapped by having been born and educated in the United States, I am beginning to learn the English language with the help of my fiancee, a native speaker.  I began building models at the age of eight, but took
the customary break from the hobby starting in my late teens. I returned to modeling a few years ago and now build 1/72 aircraft of all eras, with a decided penchant for the unusual.

So I'm the lunatic who intends to combine a Roden B fuselage with Italeri H wings to get an He 111F.  First step is to scratchbuild larger radiator housings . . . I may just be the last person in this group to finish his project.

The attached photo was taken last week, in front of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge . Seconds after the photo was shot, I was suddenly hustled away by overzealous bobbies, who claimed that I was "spoiling the view." One even mumbled something about "visual pollution," I ask you . . . .
