Started modelling around 8 years old (prompted by "Biggles" books, which are also the cause of my love of aircraft). Took a long sabbatical from modelling between ages 14 to 25 and have been modelling on & off since then. I try & restrict myself to 1:72 WW2 German & Australian subjects (which means this project fits right in - in fact I was going to build it eventually anyway).
I'd call myself a pretty average modeller, I build mostly OOB. Limited run kits don't scare me, but vacforms & massive scratchbuilding exercises do.
