"Jungmeister"

This Jungmeister, photograhed here at Kermit Weeks' Fantasy of Flight facility in Polk City, FL, has been finished in the markings of world aerobatic champion Alex Papanas' aircraft YR-PAX as flown to the US in the belly of the dirigible "Hindenburg" in 1936 and subsequently flown at the National Air Races.  Interestingly, that exact aircraft still survives on display in the National Air And Space Museum, in the markings of the late Bevo Howard who purchased the remains after Papanas wrecked it and went on to win several championships himself with the aircraft.
