Boeing P-26 Peashooter

The first monoplane fighter of the USAAC, the diminutive Peashooter was a groundbreaking military design in the late 1920s.  P-26s saw combat service with the Phillipines AF in December 1941, and were to be found in Guatemala into the late 1940s.  This aircraft is a faithful reproduction on display at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH.
