Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk

This aircraft is located at the National Museum of Naval Aviation, and is the sole remaining F9C-2 in the world (above water, anyway).  The aircraft was retired in 1939 with 676 hours on the airframe.  Later restored with parts from the XF9C-2 which was kept by Curtiss for trials and evaluations, this aircraft went on display in 1976 in the National Air and Space Museum.
