Bf 109G-6/trop (W.Nr. 16347, Stigler) Lynn Ritger |
Continuing with my theme of aircraft flown by Franz Stigler, this is the Hasegawa Bf 109G-6 modified to Trop standards complete with hollowed out and opened sand filter, loads of scratchbuilt goodies in the cockpit, separated tail surfaces, detailed wheel wells, etc. It is marked as an early G-6/trop flown by Ofw. Stigler (W.Nr. 16347) which he bellied in at Pantelleria on 3 July 1943.
