As attractive as this aircraft is, it's unfortunately an "imposter"... it was built as a Hispano Ha 1109-K1L 'Triplata', and has since been re-engined with a DB605 and has had a nose job to create this G-2.  The history of the aircraft's Spanish service is unfortunately unknown at this point.  Be that as it may, the detail photos submitted by David "Falcon" Weiss remain very helpful to us modelers!
