Bf 109G-6 W.Nr. 163824 Part One |
This aircraft is on display at the Treolar Centre in Australia, and is to our knowledge the ONLY remaining intact 109 in the entire world still to be found wearing its original camouflage paint. This fact alone makes the aircraft worth its weight in gold!
Coverage for this aircraft is being split into two pages... this first page contains submissions from Brett Green of Hyperscale and Darren Howie, and the second page will contain extremely detailed closeup photos provided by Alan Scheckenbach. The photos sent by Alan are of a uniformly high quality, and should prove to be helpful to both modelers and restorers of genuine articles.
The following 21 photos have graciously been provided by Brett Green, webmaster of Hyperscale, and as with all other photos on this site are intended for personal use only.
The following photos were submitted by Darren Howie of Australia, and he says he plans to send more when he visits the Treolar Centre again in the near future...of course, that will be a VERY welcome submission, no doubt!
