Bf 109F-4/trop W.Nr.31010 (?)

Photographed in Johannesburg, this aircraft was captured during the Western Desert campaign, and brought back to South Africa as a war prize.  Fortunately, she survives today, and for many years was the only known intact Friedrich survivor.  These photos come to us from our favorite Kiwi, Dave McDonald.  Please note the W.Nr. may not, in fact, be correct for this aircraft... it may only be a part number!  Research is still ongoing on this issue.
